Bamboo raft – There are many tour options for Bamboo rafting. I personally went with Sutingroup Bamboo Rafting Phangnga. I would say we had the best experience that exceeded our expectations. The staff was very polite and friendly throughout our tour. Our tour started with a car ride that takes you up the mountain to the opening of the river. The staff took a few photographs for us and framed them, which you can buy later. 2-3 people are allowed on 1 raft and it was surreal. My children had an amazing time and there are few spots where you can even dip down for water play. The water down this river is from the waterfalls in that area. The raft flows at a medium speed with 1 staff to guide us through. It is about 5 km which takes around 30-45 minutes per trip. I personally enjoyed this relaxing experience of rafting through nature, the beautiful forest surrounding the river, and the river being very clean. You might want to change your pants and shoes (also offered by them) as you might wet them.
After the raft ended we were offered refreshments such as coffee, chocolate, and Thai desserts with fruits in a very traditional display. There is a swing and a chill area where you can enjoy the view and some music. They also provide free wifi. I would love to go back here again as we totally enjoyed it. The experience was worthed. Other companies such as Kamol’s corner bamboo rafting also provide this service. On the way to the Sutingroup bamboo raft, you can visit Kiangkoo Waterfall as well. https://www.facebook.com/sutingroupbamboorafting Tel :096 653 9696
You can call and check their availability beforehand and also the weather, if it is rainy, intense rapids, or strong wind then you might not be able to perform this activity for that day.
When traveling with children, it’s always a good idea to plan ahead to avoid any last-minute hiccups. Research the area and the activities you want to do, and make sure to book any tours or activities in advance.
When packing for a family vacation, make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen, insect repellent, and other essential items. Also, consider packing some snacks and drinks for the kids, as well as a few toys or games to keep them entertained during long flights or car rides.
